Jeep Powertrain Warranty | What Is Covered?

Jeep Powertrain Warranty Lasts for 5 Years or 60,000 Miles from the Initial In-Service Date

The warranty for Jeep vehicles begins at the time of purchase and is transferable to subsequent owners. While the Basic Warranty (also known as bumper-to-bumper coverage) lasts for 3 years or 36,000 miles, the powertrain warranty extends up to 5 years and 60,000 miles. According to Car And Driver, the powertrain warranty covers the cost of parts and labor for repairs related to the engine, transmission, and front-wheel or all-wheel drive components.

Please note that coverage is limited to casings and internally lubricated parts. Compared to the Basic Warranty and a Mopar Extended Warranty, the Powertrain Warranty offers more restricted coverage. It’s advisable to explore additional coverage options. Presently, warranty pricing is highly affordable.

Get peace of mind with a Factory Extended Warranty for your Jeep. While there are numerous options available when shopping for an Extended Warranty, many warranty companies are third-party providers. This can be a risky choice when purchasing a warranty, as warranties are unregulated in most areas. Opting for a Factory Extended Warranty for your Jeep provides factory backing for your coverage and makes it easier to get service. When you visit a Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, or Ram Dealership, your plan will be seamlessly integrated into the system, streamlining the entire process.
